For over a hundred years, the BYU Cougar Marching Band has supported the university and its football team. Its ensemble of over 225 dedicated musicians from all over the country entertain and energize thousands of Cougar fans at every home football game. The band seeks to help others come unto Christ through inspirational music and exemplary conduct.

Audition for the 2023 Cougar Marching Band!
Rise and shout, the Cougar Marching Band is looking for new members for the 2023 season! Auditions are accepted from April 15th through May 1st, 2023, but you may request materials and start preparing right now.
Alumni Highlight: Richard Williams
When asked what he has learned from his years of studying music, Williams responded, “I have learned that God answers your prayers when you are on the move. I think similarly with music, you have to be moving, you have to be creating, you have to be showing the world that you are good, because there is so much talent out there, and there is so much noise. It is important to stand out.”
