For over a hundred years, the BYU Cougar Marching Band has supported the university and its football team. Its ensemble of over 225 dedicated musicians from all over the country entertain and energize thousands of Cougar fans at every home football game. The band seeks to help others come unto Christ through inspirational music and exemplary conduct.

Cougar Marching Band Alumnus featured in Article
An alumnus of the Cougar Marching Band, Kevin Griggs, was featured last week in Montana's Missoulian newspaper. Since graduating from Brigham Young University and the University of Northern Colorado, Griggs went on to become the director of the University of Montana Grizzly Marching Band. This spotlight gives insight into the marching band's current routines as well as the challenges and triumphs that Dr. Griggs and the band experience through the season.

Newest Staff Member Announced by Cougar Marching Band
Fred McInnis, Director the BYU Cougar Marching Band, is pleased to welcome Dr. Ron Brough, Professor of Percussion in the School of Music at Brigham Young University, as the latest member of the 2015 Cougar Band staff. Dr. Brough returns as Percussion Caption Head for the BYU drumline after serving in this capacity from 1984 - 1991.
