Assistant Director Accepts New Position

There will be a change in the Cougar Marching Band staff for the 2017 season.  Art Young, the assistant director, is leaving Brigham Young University to become Head of Financial Aid at Utah State University.

Since 2012, Brother Young split his time working with the marching band and as the Associate Director of Financial Aid at BYU.  He worked tirelessly to support both the staff and students of the marching band and exemplified the band’s adage “Execution with energy.  Entertainment with class.”

The Cougar Marching Band would like to express our sincere gratitude for all Brother Young has done for the band.  We will miss him greatly and wish him the best in his new position at USU!
